After 33 wonderful years as a hairstylist and 17 years running my own successful salon, I finally hung up my shears at 52. Retiring gave me the gift of time, and at 55, I decided to embark on a new adventure.

VibeTrade didn’t start with a boardroom plan; it started with a firsthand experience. A friend and I tried selling clothes online. Let me tell you, it was a labor of love! We spent time meticulously washing, ironing, photographing, and writing detailed descriptions for every single piece. The effort was huge, but initially, the sales were non-existent.

In those frustrating quiet moments, a single thought kept running through my mind: How do other small businesses do it? I knew, from my years as a hairstylist, the hard work that goes into a small business, but I hadn’t realized just how challenging the online world could be. My struggle became a source of inspiration. I didn’t just want to sell clothes; I wanted to build a bridge for others. I wanted to help small businesses get their unique products out into the world.

And from that thought, VibeTrade was born. I honestly wasn't sure how to make it happen, but step by step, heart by heart, it all began to fall into place. Looking at VibeTrade today, I am incredibly proud of what has been accomplished. It’s been an incredible learning journey for me, and I continue to learn every single day.
